## Work-sharing contract (partners only)

If you're working with a partner, attach this to the proposal. Both of you sign it.

The rules it has to meet:
- You're both taking the course for the same number of units.
- **Both of you contribute to every major step** below. You can divide tasks *within* a step, but not whole steps between you.
- **You're both graded on the full project**, not just your parts.
- You split the final presentation equally.
- Word counts are the same as for individual projects, and you each write your own peer reviews.
- If the partnership breaks down, you're both still responsible for finishing the project, on your own if you have to.

```
WORK-SHARING CONTRACT
Partners:                                   Units (both):
For each step, say who does which tasks, and how you'll check each other's work.
1. Project formulation (question, motivation, scope)
   [Partner A:]                [Partner B:]
2. Argument / hypothesis design
   [Partner A:]                [Partner B:]
3. Literature review
   [Partner A:]                [Partner B:]
4. Empirical work / analysis
   [Partner A:]                [Partner B:]
5. Write-up
   [Partner A:]                [Partner B:]
6. Final presentation (split equally)
   [Partner A:]                [Partner B:]
How we'll work together: [how often you'll meet; where you'll keep shared files and AI chats]
If something goes wrong: [what you'll do if one of you falls behind, and when you'll tell the teaching team]
We understand that we'll both be graded on the full project, and that if our partnership
breaks down, each of us is still responsible for finishing the project, on our own if necessary.
